Jasmin Genao is a self-taught visual artist, born and raised in Brooklyn and now based in South Florida. Working primarily with oil and acrylic paints, Genao explores themes of feminine power, emotion, and beauty through bold, expressive portraits of women. Her distinctive style blends fine art with elements of pop art, creating captivating and thought-provoking imagery. Though emerging, Genao has exhibited her work at the Coral Springs Museum of Art and the Pompano Beach Cultural Center, and has performed a live painting at the Power of the Mind International Women’s Empowerment Conference in Wynwood, Miami. Known for her experimental flair, she often incorporates materials like Swarovski crystals into her work, adding texture and visual impact. What began as a hobby shared with friends and family has grown into a dedicated artistic practice, driven by passion, ambition, and a clear message: women are powerful.
